Kamberk: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Kamberk is situated in a picturesque landscape below Blaník, close to forests and the Blanice River.
Culture and History
St. Martin's Church has been documented in writing since 1352. The present building is a Baroque structure dating from 1720.
Kamberk was probably founded in the second half of the 13th century as a settlement of miners from nearby gold mines. The history of the former fortress also goes back a long way: fragments of the original 14th- and 15th-century structure were discovered in its cellar. The former fortress of Kamberk is located on the shore of Kamberský rybník.
The Museum of Rural Life is housed in the former building of the Kampelička cooperative savings and loan bank. It presents preserved documents and objects from the lives of the rural population at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
At Kamberský rybník
Sportovní rybolov Kamberk invites you to fish at the Kamberský rybník sport fishing pond.
