At the Crkvina archaeological site, excavations uncovered the remains of an Early Christian basilica with a narthex and a side room on its southern side. The site also contains the foundation remains of a smaller church-like structure dating from the 17th or 18th century. West of the smaller church structure lies a Late Antique vaulted crypt.
The parish church Crkva sv. Mihovila Arkanđela is an important architectural monument and dates from 1760. The church Crkva sv. Mihovila in Galovac contains an oil painting created in 1887 depicting Saint Michael, John the Baptist and Saint Jerome. The Gulan complex is also part of Galovac's ethnographic heritage.
