Lisičić: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lisičić is home to the parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The newly built church was consecrated by the Archbishop of Zadar during a solemn Mass.

Culture and History

The former parish church was completed in 1982 following extensive work by local parishioners and was destroyed in 1991 during the Croatian War of Independence. Near the parish church in the centre of the village stands a monument featuring a figure of Christ and a Croatian flag.

Asseria is located near Lisičić. At nearby Asseria, near Podgrađe, traces of the ancient forum and Roman stonework can still be seen. The site was supplied by an approximately 3-kilometre-long aqueduct that carried water from the Čatrnja spring in Lisičić.
