Čisla: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Paths and history

Along the Ilirska riječna staza, historical traces of Poljica dating from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages can be traced through the landscape features of the Cetina. In the past, people from Čisla, Ostrvica and Zvečanje used the route with mules and loads to reach Omiš.

Nature and landscape

Čisla is listed as an existing settlement within the important Cetina Canyon landscape area. In this landscape area, grassland, olive groves, gardens and vineyards in the surroundings of the settlements are to be preserved.

The summit of Grečica and the mountains Sedlo, Golo Brdo and Botajna are located in the surroundings of Čisla. The churches Sveti Luka, Gospa Lurdska and Sveti Stjepan are also located in this area.

Culture

The rural complex of Šaškori in Čisla is considered a valuable part of the settlement. Dračevac in Čisla is a prehistoric hillfort. Bađina in Čisla is a prehistoric burial mound next to the church of Sveti Petar. The church of Sveti Petar in Čisla is a sacral building. The Borovac House in Čisla is designated as a building complex. The Šaškor complex in Prvičići is designated as a building complex in connection with Čisla.

The immediate surroundings include the Cetina Gorge, viewpoints over Omiš and the Brač Channel at the monument to Mila Gojsalić, Roman remains of a villa rustica in Ostrvica, excavations of an Early Christian basilica in Gata, and old mills near Studenci on the Cetina.

The ancient site of Dalmatia is located in the wider regional surroundings of Čisla.
