Kiketi is located in the southeastern part of the Trialeti Range at an altitude of approximately 1,200 metres above sea level. Kiketi has warm, dry summers and cold winters. Activities

The hike from Kojori to Kiketi is approximately 7 km each way, takes around 2 to 3 hours, is mostly flat or downhill, and ends in Kiketi. Bus 316 travels from central Tbilisi via Kojori to Kiketi. The journey to the starting point of the Kojori trail takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes; the same route also serves the return journey from Kiketi.

A cycle path begins at the Kiketi turn-off, where mountain bike tours are organised. The path crosses the settlement and leads downhill along a forest road towards Asureti. The Kiketi–Asureti cycling route has almost no climbs and mostly follows a forest road; mountain bikes are recommended. The route offers views of Kvemo Kartli.

History and Culture

Kiketi was first recorded in the 18th century under the name “Sabaratiano village”. In the Kiketi area, archaeologists discovered Samarovani, a Bronze Age cemetery. The Kabeni Monastery dates back to the 13th century and stands on the mountain ridge of the Asuretistskali River.

Kiketi Farm

Kiketi Farm is a 10-hectare multifunctional space and a leisure, cultural and educational venue established on the grounds of a Soviet-era farm. The farm includes the ethnographic “Village” complex with Oda houses brought from western Georgia.

Kiketi Farm offers creative workshops and practical activities inspired by life on the farm. Practical programmes include photography, gardening and archaeology. Horse riding is also offered through forest trails, gentle hills and open meadows.

The Kiketi Farm spa includes steam baths, treatments, wellness rituals and panoramic views of the Kiketi landscape. The Native Restaurant serves farm-to-table cuisine; Kiketi Farm also serves natural Qvevri wines and oak-aged wines with seasonal dishes.
