Along the course of the Bohílgues River lies an ecosystem designated as a flora micro-reserve, with fresh, crystal-clear water, a humid environment and a steady flow. Culture and History

The Iglesia Parroquial de San Pedro y San Pablo in Ademuz is a Baroque church dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Its chapels house paintings and significant altarpieces.

Ademuz is also home to the art of dry-stone walling, recognised as intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Dry-stone huts of various sizes and shapes are still used by farmers and shepherds.

Those who view culture not only through buildings but also through craft traditions will encounter two different forms of expression in Ademuz.

Experiences

The “Descubre Ademuz” experience costs €9, lasts approximately two hours and includes a guided tour of notable places, access to buildings of particular interest and a tasting of local products.

The “La Celadilla, del Turia a los Íberos” experience includes a guided route from La Vega through La Muela to the La Celadilla archaeological site.

“Floración de la Lavanda” takes place during the lavender bloom in June and July. The programme includes guided visits to the plantations, a birdwatching route, fragrance workshops, a market, performances and gastronomic event days.

The birdwatching routes around Ademuz combine bird observation with dry-stone huts and the cultivated landscape.

The offerings therefore focus on different aspects: the “La Celadilla, del Turia a los Íberos” route centres on the trail and archaeological site, while “Floración de la Lavanda” brings together several types of events during the lavender bloom. “Descubre Ademuz” combines sightseeing, notable buildings and local products in an experience lasting approximately two hours.
