Discover Onda: Historic Centre, Tile Museum and Sichar Reservoir

Onda begins in the historic centre with a protected urban landscape: it is protected as a historic-artistic ensemble and as a cultural asset of particular interest. Numerous narrow streets and squares convey the town’s medieval character as well as its civil, religious and military heritage.

Culture and history

The Torre de la Presó includes a reconstructed prison cell from the 17th and 18th centuries, where visitors can learn about the detention conditions of the time. As a historic prison tower, the Torre de la Presó retains its character; it is one of the few surviving examples of this building typology in the Valencian Community and is considered an exceptional example there.
