Cala del Barco is located in Calblanque Regional Park; access to it is through the La Manga Club golf complex. It can be reached via an unpaved road and a nature trail as far as the shoreline. One of La Manga Club’s golf courses is situated in a dense pine forest at the foot of Calblanque Regional Park.

Culture and History

In the wider area around Atamaría, a battery complex is an example of military architecture and is protected under Spanish historical heritage law. This battery complex was built in 1931 over an earlier structure dating from the 18th century.
