The Cascada de Xorroxin is the source of the Baztan River and plunges almost 10 m into a deep pool. In Erratzu, nature, trails and local culture stand side by side, each with different chronological and thematic focuses.

Nature

The walking route to the Cascada de Xorroxin starts at the car park on Calle Ubidea in Erratzu and takes a little over two hours. The Cascada de Xorroxin can be reached via the Gorostapolo district. A 600 m detour leads to the Aznabazterra dolmen. In the Iñarbegi district, the Sorginetxoa dolmen is also located directly along the route. The route can be considered both through its sequence and through its figures. Culture

The Palacio de Iñarbil is a baroque Palacio cabo de armería with two towers. Casa Palacio Etxebeltzea is a Palacio cabo de armería in Erratzu. The Casa natal de los Gastón de Iriarte is a palace rebuilt in the 18th century with two towers. The Church of San Pedro in Erratzu dates from the 18th century and has an octagonal baroque bell tower and an octagonal apse.

The workshop of Santiago Oteiza in Erratzu is known for woodworking, especially kaikus, wooden vessels used to make cheese and curds. Infernuko Zubia in the Iñarbil district is associated with a legend: according to it, the devil jumped from the bridge when he realised that he would never be able to understand Euskera. Erratzu's patronal festival in honour of San Pedro is celebrated on 29 June.
