In Villaralbo, the Senda Natural Ribera del Duero – Altos de San Lorenzo runs as a 6 km circular trail along a loop of the Duero River through the town. The GR14 trail crosses Villaralbo from east to west via Julio Luelmo and Ochavo streets. The Camino de Levante also passes through Villaralbo and is part of the pilgrimage route from Valencia to Santiago de Compostela. Culture

The culture of Villaralbo includes the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, a rural Gothic church from the early 16th century. It has six altarpieces, including the main altarpiece by Francisco Pérez de la Carrera. Along the Camino de Levante route, the incomplete former Stations of the Cross of Villaralbo is marked by six crosses carved in stone. Festivals and Traditions

Villaralbo observes Semana Santa on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Las Águedas is a deeply rooted tradition in Villaralbo; women take the leading role, while the Mayordomas organize the celebration. The Ofertorio is celebrated on the first Sunday in October. On this occasion and during the Feast of the Virgin of the Assumption on August 15, the parades of giants and big-head figures take place in Villaralbo.
