San Vitero’s traditional stone architecture includes the parish church of San Víctor, whose portico is particularly striking. On the main square, next to the church, stands the Roman milestone of San Vitero. The Teso de las Viñas is located in the center of San Vitero. The churches of San Blas and San Vitero feature Gothic architectural and decorative elements. Outside San Vitero stands the Santo Cristo del Campo Chapel, dating from the early years of the 18th century.

The La Manguita–La Terrezuela burial mound field is an archaeological site from the Iron Age in the municipality of San Vitero. The Conjunto rupestre de la Mazada rock ensemble is part of San Vitero’s cultural and historical heritage. Alto del Castro is a Celtic hillfort in San Vitero. The archaeological remains in San Vitero include a stone Vettonian verraco.

The La Manguita burial mound field is an archaeological site in the municipality of San Vitero.

Nature

San Vitero is one of the municipalities participating in the Parque Micológico Montes del Noroeste Zamorano. Folgoso, Vigallonga y Escajadal (San Juan) is a designated woodland area of San Vitero within the Parque Micológico PMZA-50.001 Montes del Noroeste Zamorano. The PMZA-50001 permit system for mushroom gathering distinguishes permits according to the origin of the person gathering, the period of validity and the purpose of the gathering, namely recreational or commercial gathering. Fuente El Cubo is a recreational area near the El Cubo y sus Mangas woodland area in San Vitero.
