Nava del Rey is connected to the Camino de Levante: the stage between Medina del Campo and Siete Iglesias de Trabancos passes through Nava del Rey, and the route is officially designated as the GR-239 long-distance hiking trail. The town has more than 400 traditional underground wine cellars built beneath residential buildings.
For a holiday apartment in Nava del Rey, travel dates, room category and cancellation policies can be compared on the respective listing page. Their weighting can be based on your own travel plans.
Pilgrimage route
Nava del Rey has a municipal pilgrim hostel at Calle Evangelista 11. For planning purposes, the route of the stage and the specific address in the town can be considered separately before giving greater weight to other priorities such as culture, nature or festivals.
Wine cellars in the town centre
Bodega Casa de Los Maestros is a natural underground wine cellar in the centre of Nava del Rey, next to the church, and was renovated to open it to visitors. This individual bodega therefore complements the underground cellar structure with a specifically named location in the centre.
Culture
The Palacio de Dueñas palace is located in the area surrounding Nava del Rey. Also located in the area surrounding Nava del Rey are the Fundación Museo de las Ferias museum, the Palacio del Almirante palace and the Palacio Real Testamentario De Isabel La Católica museum. When planning your trip, palaces and museums can be considered as different cultural priorities.
Nature and parks
The Parque Aguacaballos and Parque Villa De Las Ferias parks are also located in the area surrounding Nava del Rey. Associated with Nava del Rey is the area of the Natura 2000 network known as Zona ZEPA La Nava-Rueda; it is highlighted for its bird populations in a landscape characterised by pine trees. For personal selection, park and nature topics can be weighted separately from cultural and pilgrimage offerings. This means that the wider surrounding area offers named cultural sites, parks and the landscape area known as a Natura 2000 zone for different thematic priorities.

Festivals and crafts
The Virgen de los Pegotes festival ends with a tasting of typical products and roasted chestnuts; as part of the associated tradition, the procession route is illuminated with bonfires and torches known as pegotes. At Tonelería Burgos, visitors can learn about the production of a barrel on site; the cooperage was founded in 1941. The different formats of custom, tasting and barrel-making can be weighted separately in your own planning. The XIV Fiesta de la Siega included a public threshing demonstration using a threshing sled pulled by mules. The cooperage, the festival custom and the threshing demonstration thus represent different forms of craftsmanship, tradition and public presentation.
