Corcos: Monastery, Canal de Castilla and Wine Tradition

On the right bank of the Pisuerga, in a meander between the river and the course of the Canal de Castilla, the Santa María de Palazuelos Monastery extends across the municipal areas of Corcos del Valle and Cabezón de Pisuerga.

The church of the former Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Palazuelos has been listed as a Historic-Artistic Monument (BIC) since 3 June 1931.
