Culture and History
The original melody has been preserved in the Ball de Sant Joan de Rodonyà. The Ball Parlat de Sant Joan de Rodonyà has been documented since the first half of the 19th century. Both names belong to the local festival tradition and preserve different indications of the town's cultural history. The parish church of Sant Joan Baptista in Rodonyà was built in the third quarter of the 18th century. The bell tower of the Església de Sant Joan Baptista in Rodonyà is square at the base and octagonal in its upper section.
The Castell de Rodonyà has been documented since the 12th century. The traditional Pa Beneït procession takes place during the summer festival in Rodonyà.
