The Ermita de Sant Antoni Abat stands on the summit of a steep hill and dates from 1610. The parish church of Sant Joan Evangelista is neoclassical in design, features Baroque elements and was built between 1763 and 1771. The Pont Vell was built in 1804.

The route offers views of Porrera and the Cortiella Valley; behind them, Montsant and the Serra de la Gritella can be seen.

Wine and Local Culture

Celler Joan Simó offers wine-tourism visits that introduce visitors to the landscape and wine-growing culture. Porrera’s wineries hold a tasting of the best Carinyena wines from the town’s vineyards. This tasting is included in the programme of the May Festival and in the wine festival programmes in Falset.
