In Barberà del Vallès stands the watch and defensive tower of Ca n'Altimira, a Bé Cultural d'Interès Nacional dating from the 11th to 12th centuries. The Torre de Ca n’Altimira is also a defensive tower at a strategic location for controlling a large part of the course of the Ripoll River.

Castell de Barberà has been documented since 1005. The building has the appearance of a farmhouse; this appearance dates back to a reconstruction in the 16th to 18th centuries and significant alterations in the 19th century. The complex includes an 18th-century chapel dedicated to Santa Coloma.

The Torre d'en Gorgs is considered the oldest building in Barberà del Vallès and has been documented since 985. Molí d’en Santo, an old paper mill located near the Ripoll River, has also been documented since 1660.

Culture

Santa Maria de Barberà, also known as La Romànica, is a 12th-century church. It is not open to the public for visits; no guided tours are currently offered there. The Romanesque church is also the starting point of the Ruta del Castell de Barberà.

La Nau was created by converting part of an industrial hall into a cultural facility. Since 2011, La Nau in Barberà del Vallès has hosted concerts as part of the local youth association movement. The venue therefore represents a cultural use that emerged from a converted industrial hall.

The Ruta del riu Ripoll a Barberà del Vallès is a semicircular route that follows a section of the Ripoll River. Its name explicitly refers to the Ripoll River, whose course provides the geographical reference in the route description.
