El Romeral: Windmills, Museums and Lavender Fields

The windmills of El Romeral are protected as a “Historic Site” – a legal heritage category for the protection, study and interpretation of historic sites.

Culture and History

El Romeral has a group of four 19th-century windmills: El Crítica, El Muela, Los Gorrinos and El Pechuga. The Molino Pechuga can be visited, preserves its original machinery and is still in operation. Once a year, the Fiesta de los Molinos takes place.
