Sendero 10, “El Salto de Poveda y la Laguna de Taravilla”, is a 5-kilometre circular route of moderate difficulty in Poveda de la Sierra and Taravilla. Tradition and festival culture

The Fiesta Ganchera recreates the traditional work of the gancheros, who transported logs along the Tajo, particularly as far as Aranjuez. The festival takes place each year in rotation in Peralejos de las Truchas, Poveda de la Sierra, Taravilla, Peñalén and Zaorejas. The Fiesta Ganchera includes demonstrations of various methods of cutting logs, tastings of typical regional dishes and traditional games. Architectural history and church art

The Iglesia de San Pablo is a rural church dating from the 16th century. Its Romanesque portal on the south wall has three archivolts and figurative capitals featuring medieval mythical animals. The bell gable and a portico protected by an atrium on wooden pillars have survived from the original 12th-century church. The Iglesia de San Pablo therefore makes it possible to distinguish two historical building phases on the basis of specific architectural elements.
