Coast and beaches

Playa del Duque is located in the tourist area of Costa Adeje and has been awarded Blue Flag status. Playa del Duque is bordered by a promenade connected to more than eight beaches. A wide range of water sports is available directly at Playa de Fañabé. Playa de Fañabé is almost 600 metres long; the beach is also considered to have calm waters and an area with around 600 metres of golden sand. Playa de la Pinta is considered to be protected by the breakwaters of Puerto Colón and to be a beach with very little wave activity. Access to the Monumento Natural is via a route formerly known as the Camino de la Caldera, which comes from near the Palacio de Congresos de Costa Adeje.

For planning your own day, beach features, water sports and wave activity can be considered as separate points of reference alongside one another.
