Traslaviña: Greenway and historic buildings

The circular route ENK11 Artzentales: Traslaviña-Amalurra passes through part of the municipality of Traslaviña and via Laiseka. It is 3.92 kilometers long, includes 94 meters of ascent and 94 meters of descent, and takes approximately 59 minutes. On this route, the ascent and descent are equal in elevation. Culture and History

The Torre de Traslaviña was built in the 16th century and is an example of Gothic-Renaissance military and residential architecture. The Church of Santa María in Traslaviña is Gothic in style and has a fortress-like appearance. The Palacio de Orcasitas is located near the Church of Santa María. It is one of the historic houses of interest preserved there. The tower and church thus bring together different architectural references in Traslaviña. The tower combines military and residential architecture, while the church is characterized by its Gothic style and fortress-like appearance.
