Culture
The sculpture group “La familia minera” on Plaza del Campo de la Iglesia in Moreda is an allegorical monument to mining. It depicts the efforts of mining families who, despite difficult conditions, wanted to provide their children with a better future.
The parish church of Moreda is dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours and is a three-nave church. It was inaugurated in 1946 with two towers and a central portico.

Festivals and regional cuisine
The Fiesta de los Humanitarios is a festival of tourist interest of the Principality of Asturias; it has been held every year on 11 November in Morea/Moreda since 1905. It includes a Mass, a parade of floats and traditional Asturian folklore.
The Fiesta de San Martín, also known as the Fiesta de los Humanitarios, culminates in a San Martín meal of fabada, casadiellas and panchón; panchón is a dessert characteristic of Aller.
One edition of FolkAyer in Moreda featured a traditional market, an Asturian-Galician dance workshop and a torchlight procession from Plaza del Campu de Moreda to the FolkAyer tent in Sotiello.
For the period from 17 to 19 October 2025, the tenth edition of FolkAyer, the X Alcuentru Folclóricu d’Ayer, was scheduled to take place in Moreda de Aller as a gathering for traditional Asturian music and culture.
