Trevías – Holiday Apartments, Esva Trails and San Miguel
Accommodation in Trevías
Trevías reveals its distinctive character not through a single attraction, but through its trails, riverside landscape, history and local events. This becomes particularly tangible on the routes around the town.
Nature and Trails
The Los Llugarinos route (PR AS-5) is an easy route of about 10 kilometres in the Trevías valley. It follows the Esva River and returns via the Reguero de los Molinos. The route lies within the protected landscape area of Paisaje Protegido de la Cuenca del Esva.
The Esva River passes through the main settlement of the parish of Trevías. There are two particularly good salmon pools for fishing on the Esva near Trevías.
The Valle del Esva Trail includes a challenging middle-distance course of about 26.7 kilometres with around 1,300 metres of elevation gain around Trevías. The trail is a run through the parish of Trevías in the municipality of Valdés and is organised by Club Deportivo Treviense. It also includes a 9.5-kilometre non-competitive hike for beginners.
The different distances and formats help you organise your day in advance without equating a run, hike and route. Length, elevation gain and type of activity can be considered separately.
Regional Routes
One driving route begins in Trevías, passes through Brieves along the AS-222 towards Muñás, and provides access to the La Trapa recreational area beyond Carcedo. Another driving route begins in Trevías and leads to Brieves, where historic stone arches connect the hórreos with the houses.
