Andés between the Coastal Plain and Culture
Accommodation in Andés
Andés lies on the coastal plain between the beaches of Navia and Frejulfe. Campo San Pedro is considered the heart of Andés. On 29 June, Andés celebrates its patron saint’s festival in honour of Saint Peter. For trip planning, the coastal area, town centre, and festival tradition therefore stand alongside one another as clearly distinguishable themes.
Nature and Coastal Area
In the area around Andés, Playa de Coedo was once a viewpoint and a whaling cove. From Andés, Playa de Coedo can be reached via a local path. Playa de Frejulfe is also located near Andés and can be reached via the road from Andés. El Castrillón lies at the far end of a peninsula surrounded by cliffs. For your own planning, a local path and the road from Andés can be classified alongside one another as different types of route.
