Located in the municipality of Cabrales, the Abrigo de Berodia is protected as a Bien de Interés Cultural. It preserves rock art featuring angular engravings and rhythmic rows of linear lines. The Palacio de Díaz Inguanzo was placed under protection as a Bien de Interés Cultural in 1994. It is a rural manor-house type that lies between a residence and a palace, arranged around a tower between two symmetrical side wings. The present-day church of Santa María Magdalena was demonstrably begun around 1780 and altered several times in the 19th century. It replaced an older church documented as early as the late 14th century under the patronage of Santa María. The La Olla bridge served Berodia until the bridge of the same name was built; the latter was constructed in a narrow gorge.

The historical references therefore range from protected rock art and a manor-house type to the development of a religious building and the former function of a bridge. Paths and Landscape

The Ruta de los Artistas de la Covaciella passes through Berodia before reaching the Mirador de Las Cuevas recreation area; an almost level section of the path along the mountain slope offers excellent views of the Sierra del Cuera. The Mirador de Las Cuevas offers views of the Cueva del Bosque cave, the Abrigo del Golondrón rock shelter and the Caverna de Covaciella cave, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
