Asiego: Culture, Cheese and Mountain Views

In Asiego, a cultural walk leads to the restored murals of San Miguel, which are considered one of Asiego's major attractions. The parish church of San Miguel preserves murals from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. La Caleya is the oldest district of Asiego and dates back to the Middle Ages. One house in Asiego is considered one of the oldest houses in the village.

Taranu, an archaeological site, lies in the highest part of Asiego. Taranu is associated with 14 Bronze Age axes, the Giant's Grave and the remains of a castle.
