Leciñena combines distinctive sacred architecture with the Sierra de Alcubierre, regional production and clearly structured customs. The tower of the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción was built entirely of brick and consists of three sections from different construction phases. Tradition

The 15th of March and the veneration of the Virgen de Magallón are associated with the Dance de Leciñena. The schedule includes a procession to the sanctuary in the morning, followed by the Pastorada and the Mudanzas in the afternoon. The day's structure combines religious veneration, the procession and the two afternoon performances into a distinct cultural focus.

The activities also differ clearly: the routes are designated for walking and cycling, while the procession, Pastorada and Mudanzas form part of the Dance's time-structured programme. This keeps landscape activities and traditional customs recognisable in their respective forms.
