Bordalba combines protected historical heritage, spring landscapes and vibrant village traditions. Two prominent buildings shape the cultural view of the town: the Castillo de Bordalba and the Iglesia de la Purísima Concepción. Culture and History

The Castillo de Bordalba is protected as a BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural, an Asset of Cultural Interest) and classified as a military archaeological zone. The Iglesia de la Purísima Concepción is Gothic and dates from the 13th century. Its bell tower also has distinctive architectural features: it has a square ground plan and an oval top. In Bordalba, protected status, a medieval construction period and different architectural forms thus stand side by side.

The Fuente Vieja consists of a natural spring beneath a Roman arch, a washhouse and a small picnic park. The Bordalba area also has numerous natural springs and spring sites. Bordalba’s Semana Cultural includes exhibitions of paintings, old photographs, tapestries, handicrafts and lacework. Food and Crafts

The annual competition for traditional Easter sweets features various traditional desserts such as torrijas, buñuelos, cañas, pestiños, pasteles and flans. The lemonade typical of the region is also included. The Semana Cultural complements this culinary aspect with gastronomic competitions that have evolved from a competition for the typical tortilla de patata into competitions for tapas and pinchos.
