Culture and History

Abay is home to the Iglesia Parroquial de San Andrés, which was built in the 12th century and expanded to three naves in 1575.

Its furnishings include a Romanesque sculpture of the Virgin and Child, several paintings from the 14th century, a Baroque sculpture of Saint Andrew, and a Romanesque tympanum with a Trinity chrismon.
