Culture

The Festival Flamenco de las 13 Rosas is organised by the Peña Flamenca Manuel Romero, with the support of the Pedrera municipal administration and the Diputación de Sevilla. Another cultural aspect can be found at an exhibition venue for archaeological remains and the history of the town, as well as various other exhibitions.

The Church of San Sebastián was built in the last third of the 16th century. Its single-nave body has external buttresses and ends in a polygonal chancel. The high altar is neoclassical in design. The Chapel of Nuestra Señora del Carmen is an 18th-century chapel. It has a single-nave body with a vault decorated with Baroque stucco work.

The feast day of the Virgen del Carmen is also one of the religious traditions handed down locally. A procession takes place on 16 July to celebrate it, with women from Pedrera carrying the image.
