Since 1918, Higuera de la Sierra has maintained the tradition of the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos. During this festival, local residents recreate scenes from the childhood of Jesus and transform themselves into biblical figures for several hours.

Culture

The designated historic town centre of Higuera de la Sierra is protected as a Bien de Interés Cultural in the Conjunto Histórico category.

The Iglesia Parroquial de San Sebastián was inaugurated in 1746 and houses more than one hundred works of art.

A small viewpoint at the foot of the cave offers a view of the surroundings of the Barranco del Burro.
