Nature

The Aldea del Cerezo–Venta del Charco trail passes through extensive dehesas and the only stand of Pyrenean oaks in the province of Córdoba. The Camino de Vuelcacarretas leads into a dense forest of holm oaks and cork oaks, as well as through Mediterranean scrubland.

Among other species, Iberian lynxes, Spanish imperial eagles and black kites can be observed in the Sierra de Cardeña y Montoro Natural Park. An exhibition at the Venta Nueva Visitor Centre describes the Mediterranean landscape of the Sierra de Cardeña y Montoro, with its dehesas, Mediterranean scrubland and pine forests.

The Venta Nueva Visitor Centre offers reception services, visitor information and a café-bar. For your own impressions, landscape forms, tree species and wildlife observations can be considered side by side as different perspectives.
