Zgornja Orlica: Sgerm Spruce and Chapels

Nature

Zgornja Orlica is associated with a distinctive natural feature: the Sgerm Spruce stands on the Sgerm farm in Zgornja Orlica. The tree is 61.8 metres tall and is considered the tallest spruce in Slovenia and throughout Central Europe.

In 1984, it was rebuilt according to its original model after being destroyed in a collision with a truck.
