Holiday Apartment in Pišece: Castle, Mills and Educational Trails

In Pišece, castle history, craftsmanship and marked trails come together with springs and mills. Pišece Castle was first mentioned in written sources in the early 14th century. A water-themed educational trail with seven stations runs along the stream from Pišece to Čatež.

The Pišece Forest Educational Trail is a circular route that begins at the mill in the village of Pišece. It is marked with green-and-yellow signs and includes 11 thematic stations. The forest reserve is the highest point of the Pišece Forest Educational Trail.

The Pot na Špiček circular route is marked and begins at the pond below Pišece Castle. It reaches a 690-meter-high summit. Thus, in addition to the water-themed educational trail, Pišece also features a circular forest route and a marked path to a higher part of the terrain.
