Immediately to the right of the entrance to the church in Bogyarét stands a wayside shrine.

A sandstone crucifix stands in the cemetery next to the Roman Catholic church, with its back facing the church. Outside the centre of Bogyarét, there is also a roadside cross in a field near a group of farm buildings. The shrine is said once to have contained a statue of Saint Joseph. In the past, a procession led to the roadside cross during the Rogation Days.
