The thermal water at ThermalPark Nitrava is natural, mineral-rich, highly mineralised, contains hydrogen carbonate and sodium, and is mildly alkaline. Nature and Cycle Route

The Štepnice area contains 35.5 hectares of secondary forest, dominated mainly by acacias and ash trees. Cycle route 2118 passes through Poľný Kesov. It is a 43.1-kilometre-long, easy MTB loop for recreational cyclists.

Horses and History

Jazdecký klub Poľný Kesov offers riding lessons and rides in the countryside. The Santiaga Cup, a publicly accessible equestrian competition, is also held there regularly. The village's equestrian history dates back to 1814–1822: at that time, the first horse races in what was then Hungary took place in Poľný Kesov.

Culture

Poľný Kesov is home to a Baroque manor house from the 18th century and a Neoclassical wayside cross from 1795. Its older history includes a Slavic settlement from the period of Great Moravia, a 10th-century skeletal burial ground and settlement finds from a Hungarian-influenced culture dating from the Early Bronze Age.

The Church of Christ the King is housed in an old Baroque barn that was converted into a church in 1940. Poľný Kesov also has a 19th-century bell tower.
