The parish church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Żukowo is Gothic, was consecrated on 7 April 1946, and has an altar, a pulpit and organs dating from around 1700.

Culture and history
Żukowo was established around the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries; the first mention dates from 1363. Heinrich von Podewils, who was finance minister at the courts of Frederick William I and Frederick the Great of Prussia, was born in Żukowo.
A chapel was built in the 1930s in Żukowo's new Protestant cemetery, around 50 metres west of the church. The lapidarium in Żukowo contains several gravestones of former residents. It also includes a memorial plaque mounted on a granite erratic boulder commemorating the Polish and German deceased of the former German parish of Żukowo who found their final resting place in this cemetery. The plaque bears the years 1945–1995.
Nature and surroundings
The lime-tree avenue in Żukowo is one of the natural monuments of the “Jezioro Łętowskie oraz okolice Kępic” protected landscape area.
In the vicinity of Żukowo is “krag zamek”, a geographical attraction regarded as a castle. In the wider regional surroundings of Żukowo are “Święta Góra” and “Czarcia Góra”, geographical landscape features each regarded as a mountain. Also located in the wider regional surroundings is “Darłowo - Gotycki zamek XIVw.”, a geographical attraction regarded as a castle.
Cycle route
The Sławieński Szlak Rowerowy runs through Żukowo on the route from Pomiłowo via Gwiazdowo and Żukowo, continuing via Janiewice to Łętowo. In total, the cycle route covers approximately 25 km of roads, forest tracks, paths and routes suitable for cyclists.
