Culture and History
A preserved relic of the former manor buildings is the granary in Dębowiec. It has a rare octagonal shape and was used as a water tower until 1910, and thereafter as a granary. Access is restricted; the building can be viewed from the outside.
The Evangelical Church of the Redeemer in Dębowiec was extended in 2000. As a result, the number of seats increased from 170 to 230. A small chapel was built by the church in 1869; a chapel three times larger was built in its place in 1912.
The origins of the parish of St Margaret's Church in Dębowiec are dated to the 14th century, approximately 1335. Construction of the new St Margaret's Church began in 1854 and lasted two years.
