In 1905, residents of Hołowczyce went in procession to the church in Sarnaki to embrace the Roman Catholic faith. There was once an inn at the northern end of Hołowczyce; a small wooden manor house remained until the post-war years. A road leading from Hołowczyce to the Zabuże estate still exists and is known in local tradition as Korolówka. The name links a specific regional landmark with the history of the wider village.
