The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Rokitno was built between 1740 and 1762. Its vault is decorated with 18th-century polychrome paintings. The miraculous image is also part of the sanctuary’s history: it was recognised as miraculous on 4 March 1670. These dates provide a clear historical context for a visit, while the history extends beyond any single era.
The sanctuary also includes a museum and a garden. The yellow cycling route is 30 kilometres long: it runs from Twierdzielewo via Rokitno, Przytoczna and Goraj to Strychy.
