Przytoczna between two lakes: history and cycling routes
Accommodation in Przytoczna
Przytoczna is a comparatively large village whose origins date back to the 13th century. It lies between Lake Przytoczono and Lake Nadolne. Its history includes a Baroque manor house, a park and a Neo-Romanesque church; three cycling routes also provide an active focus for planning your trip. The lakes form the village’s scenic setting, while its historic buildings tell the story of its development. This lets you weigh cultural history and cycling as different interests for your stay.

Manor house, park and village history
The Baroque manor house in Przytoczna dates from the second half of the 18th century. In the first half of the 20th century, a two-storey wing was added. Next to the manor house is a park of about ten hectares, which was expanded into a landscape park in the early 20th century. Here, you can encounter different periods in the village’s history: the Baroque building was followed by the expansion of the building and the development of the park. The changes in the early 20th century affected different parts of the ensemble—the manor house’s structure and the park’s design. This offers two closely connected themes for anyone interested in architecture and designed landscapes.
Historically, Przytoczna had three churches: a Catholic, a Protestant and a New Apostolic church. The Neo-Romanesque church in Przytoczna dates from 1870. The three churches and their different affiliations bring the village’s religious past to life as another part of its history. Together with the manor house and park, they give the village a character shaped by both architectural development and religious diversity.
Cycling routes of varying lengths
Cycling routes also feature in the active side of Przytoczna. The red Przytoczna–Dębówko–Orłowce cycling route is 18 kilometres long. The green Stołuń–Lubikowo–Przytoczna–Nowa Niedrzwica–Krasne Dłusko–Nowe Dłusko cycling route covers 22.5 kilometres; the yellow Twierdzielewo–Rokitno–Przytoczna–Goraj–Strychy route is 30 kilometres long. By length, the green route falls between the shorter red and longer yellow routes. There are 12 kilometres between the shortest and longest routes. You can compare the stated distances and plan according to your preferred tour length. Check route details and markings locally, as they may change.
Choose the focus of your stay
When choosing a holiday apartment in Przytoczna, you can first consider what you would like your stay to focus on: if the village’s history is your main interest, the manor house, park and churches offer suitable topics; if you would like to include cycling, the three stated distances make it easy to compare the routes. This lets you tailor your accommodation search to your travel interests. If you are planning together, you can also decide whether the village’s history or a particular route length should be the deciding factor in choosing your destination.
