Culture and History
The Wiatrak Polkowicki is the town’s only surviving windmill. The present building was constructed in the 1880s after an earlier wooden windmill burned down in 1846. The Wiatrak Polkowicki houses an exhibition on the history of Polkowice; guided tours and participation in artistic and ethnographic workshops are also offered there.
The Church of St. Michael the Archangel is the oldest sacred architectural monument in Polkowice. It was built in the second half of the 14th century as a wooden Catholic church. It contains two paintings from the time of the plague epidemic of 1680, including a votive painting in the chancel, as well as an altar dedicated to Saint Sebastian and a painting.
The Church of Saint Barbara was built in the mid-18th century as a Protestant church; its tower dates from 1828.

Leisure and Recreation
“Glinianki” was established in the first half of the 18th century as a site for extracting clay for bricks. In the 1920s, the area was turned into a recreational site for the residents of Polkowice. Shelters, benches, and fire pits were installed on the site to make it usable by the public again.
The Tężnia solankowa salt graduation tower produces an aerosol by distributing brine over blackthorn branches. The aquapark includes, among other things, pools and saunas.
