Landscape and Nature in Powiat Polkowicki
The Uroczysko Obiszów Nature Reserve protects a well-developed oak-hornbeam forest. Its features include a relatively rich and natural native flora. The size of Przemkowski Landscape Park also gives an idea of the scale of this landscape: the park covers 22,338 ha, with a further 15,467 ha in its buffer zone. Stawy Przemkowskie is an ornithological reserve in the landscape of Powiat Polkowicki.
The trails have different focuses. Stawy Przemkowskie is 16 km long and focuses on wetland ecosystems. The Ruchome Wydmy Śródlądowe trail runs between Przemków and Wilkocin, is 6 km long, and focuses on forest ecosystems and a bat hibernaculum.

Historic Sites and Regional Stories
Of the many historic windmills in Polkowice, only one remains today; it is located on ul. Młyńska. The Old Town was completely rebuilt and is described as the youngest Old Town in Poland. If you are interested in its surviving buildings, the educational trail “Śladami historii Polkowic” offers a practical way to explore them: it starts in the market square and passes through historic buildings in the Old Town. Along the way, it presents Polkowice’s most important surviving historic buildings.
The religious buildings also offer their own historical points of interest. The sanctuary in Grodowiec is an architectural complex dating from the 16th to the 19th century. The church in Jakubów is a 14th-century Gothic building. These examples date from different periods and offer different points of interest if you are interested in architectural history.
