Rethwisch: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Rethwisch can then continue their search for accommodation. The local biotope lies east of the settlement on the Holcim Canal in the Breitenburger Moor and comprises two ponds, a circular path, planted vegetation, benches, wildlife observation huts and information boards. The site was disconnected from ongoing drainage, allowing a wetland with a high groundwater level to regenerate. The circular path, observation huts and information boards support walks and nature observation.

Geographical Location

A wind farm with 16 wind turbines stands along the village road; its presence has been documented since early 2017. The Rethwisch cement factory is described as a prominent landmark.

Getting Around
