The Bahnhofserwachen project transformed Halstenbek S-Bahn station into a colourful place of public art connected to the history of the town. In 2010, Bahnhofserwachen received first prize in the visual arts category in the “Kinder zum Olymp!” programme of the Cultural Foundation of the German Federal States.
