Frohburg: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Frohburg can then continue searching for accommodation. Frohburg Castle is the oldest building in the town. The present four-winged castle developed from a stone complex dating from around 1200. At the same time, it is a four-wing complex built in the 16th century that incorporates three medieval tower structures from the 13th century. Culture
St. Michaelis Church also tells the story of the town. It was completely remodelled inside and out in the neo-Gothic style in 1877, although it was first mentioned as early as 1233. Its oldest part is probably the sacristy. The altar area contains nine oil paintings of Frohburg pastors dating from 1613 to 1849. The Centaur Fountain stands in the market square, where it has adorned Frohburg since 1899.
The Pottery Museum presents temporary exhibitions by artists and craftspeople from the region. In Kohren-Sahlis, which belongs to Frohburg, pottery workshops showcase traditional craftsmanship and sell regional products. Nature
The “Nature and Culture – Frohburg” route is an easy, 13.45-kilometre circular hike that starts and ends at Frohburg railway station. Another 14-kilometre hiking trail around Frohburg passes through the Eschefeld Ponds Nature Reserve. This nature reserve is home to more than 100 bird species and includes lush riverside meadows.
Cycling
The 29.37-kilometre Wyhratal Cycle Route is an easy cycling route that passes through Frohburg. The section within Frohburg runs past St. Michaelis Church. Before reaching Frohburg, the route passes through Streitwald Nature Reserve. Frohburg is also a rail access point for the Wyhratal Cycle Route.

Frohburg can be reached from Leipzig by suburban train in less than an hour.
