Hiking

The Eifelsteig passes through Mirbach, a district of Wiesbaum. Its Stage 8 begins there and leads over 26.1 km to Hillesheim, through forest paths, fields and meadows, with views of the volcanic Eifel landscape.

The route is designated as a premium long-distance hiking trail. Bus connections are indicated for the Mirbach/Traudenhof start and the return connection from Hillesheim. The Golf-Club Eifel golf course is about 2.5 km from Wiesbaum.

A farmers' market takes place at the parish church in Wiesbaum, where regional traders and producers sell local products. Between Mirbach and Wiesbaum, Traudenhof offers farm products such as milk, eggs, potatoes and honey; seasonal goods are added at times.
