The 15.2-kilometre-long Aubach stream runs along Oberraden. The Burhäuschen is a pumping station built in 1948 with an underground reservoir. The Aubach spring “Bur” is a former well system that once served Oberraden’s water supply.

Above the hunting lodge, the “Dorfblick” panoramic swing offers views over Oberraden. The O2 route offers distant views and a varied landscape of meadows, fields and forest.

On the Way

The O2 route is a moderate 4.1-kilometre hike. The circular trail starts in Oberraden at the car park opposite Haus Waldblick. Sturdy shoes are sufficient for this route. It reaches Straßenhaus nearby; the arboretum can be incorporated into the route there. The O2 route also offers several places for refreshment breaks.
