Culture and History

Kasbach was once a farming and wine-growing village. The old center still features Rhenish half-timbered houses that document the craftsmanship of earlier times. St. Michael's Church, built in 1905, stands in the center of Kasbach. The first documentation of Ohlenberg dates back to 1262. The area around Kasbach-Ohlenberg is also home to Arenfels Castle, Rheineck Castle, and Neuerburg Ruins.

Geographical Location

Kasbach-Ohlenberg is located on the right bank of the Middle Rhine. The municipality stretches southwest from the Rhine to the foothills of the Westerwald in the northeast.
