Mehren’s open-air stage, built in 1986, stands below the church and next to the village pond. It was constructed in the Greco-Roman style, modeled on the ancient theater of Ephesus. Open-air events and concerts take place on the stage. The parish barn is also used for events. The Mehrener Festival of Lights is organized by local associations.

The village tour through Mehren comprises 19 stations and begins at Bullesje, which dates back to 1547. The tour around the church leads to the Old School, which was built in 1547.
