Kürten is a scattered settlement comprising four church villages and numerous farmsteads. It stretches 11.2 kilometres from north to south and 10.8 kilometres from east to west. Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Kürten can then continue searching for accommodation.
Kürten is located in the Bergisches Land, approximately 24 kilometres northeast of Cologne as the crow flies. The municipality belongs to the Bergisches Land Nature Park.
